Honestly? Still pretty confident.

I think we've shown throughout the season that we're the better team, and that we can get to their pitchers - and we've specifically gotten to Schmadolf in the past. If we can regress back to our team's defensive mean, then Jays in 4.

Pretty good. Tonight is looking dicey, but we are still the clear favorite in the series. Can't ask for much more than that at this point in the season. There are not going to be any easy series.

We need to get Schlittler in the first 5 innings. Make the bullpen work on their side as well.

Our chances are not near the 50% level tonight... but its far from a guaranteed loss as well.

Let's hope Lauer pulls something off like has done a number of times this year (only once in September though)

1. Springer DH
2. Lukes LF
3. Guerrero 1B
4. Barger 3B
5. Kirk C
6. Varsho CF
7. Santander RF
8. Clement 2B
9. Gimenez SS

So basically they chose Santander over Davis Schneider. Not feeling the move offensively or defensively, but will hope Santander proves me wrong.

Not bad.Looks like a decent lineup tonight.I wanna see Varsho hit Schlittler. If that happens,it means the other lefties will be feasting. We have nice evidence from his last start to use against him. Also have to tighten our defense.Be the Jays.

I feel pretty good as well.

Last night was frustrating but we've done a good job all year battling back from adversity.

Just be defensively sound and let the bullpen bounce back.

Prediction: 4-2 Jays

Santander's offensive is slooowly beginning to click.
But defensively he's a trash can.

I'd flip Kirk and Varsho and then flip Santander and Clement.

Mistake not to add Bassitt to the playoff roster assuming he was healthy. Jays relying on a tired bullpen arms day for Game 4 while Yankees have a fresh starting arm isn’t optimal

I think they're trying to avoid having the two lefties in a row, especially since NY only has the one lefty arm in the pen.

Davis cant hit velo so he was always gonna be out for this one buf if Tim Hill plays he'll be in. The real choice was Springer in RF or Tony and they chose Tony so they could sub in Straw later without losing Springer. I thought theyd go Springer in the field but I guess he just cant so this is what we got but Springer better hit tn lol.

Santander is absolutely the right move offensively based on his quality of ABs. Just have to hope he doesn't hurt you defensively while he's out there.

If they wanted Davis in there, they could have also played him at 2B (and benched someone like Barger) but chose not to.

He's been cleanup for weeks vs RHP and the Jays' FO doesn't change their processes up too easily.

Bassitt is terrible also tbf lol and I thought it mightve been a phantom injury but I think hes really hurt tbh. I heard his fastball was only up to 92 so thats probably why hes not playing. Among a multitude of other reasons (sucks on the road, Yankees crush spin, prone to meltdowns).

Satandar should be in clean up lol but knowing this years team Barger will rip a 3 run HR first inning.

Agreed, thus I'm not feeling confident. But given the randomness of baseball, we might end up with a bullpen combined shutout tonight.
