Wonder if it will be Trey in Gm 1, Gausman in Gm 2, Bieber in Gm 3 again. Wouldn't be opposed to seeing Scherzer in Gm 4. It will be a tough series but the Jays do everything well. They are fundamentally sound, get contributions from everyone and always put the ball in play. If you do all the little things, you give yourselves a chance.

I’d expect that formation, Trey and Gausman both on regular rest then.

Jays in 4 or 5. Dodgers are trash. They haven't faced a real team yet.

If you had told me in April that between us and the Dodgers, we were going to be the big thumping team in the post season, I would not have believed you.

The Top 3 starters get 2 starts.

So if you deem them as Gausman, Trey, bieber, then the rotation is a no brainer because there is only one way to set it up so that everybody is on for rest.

However, if you decide the top three is Gozman tray and Max Scherzer, then it really creates a flexibility in terms of how they decide to go. Do I think they go that route? No, they haven’t lost faith in Bieber to that degree most likely, but he has struggled in two of his 3 starts.

Quite a bit you’d hope considering the bullpen is largely bad.

Little, Fluharty and Lauer are gonna matter more in this series though with as many true LHBs as they have.

Absolutely. Jays in 6 Games. I believe this is a team of destiny and will get it done. The Jays are 2 for 2 in their World Series appearances, and will be 3 for 3 after this series.

The Baseball Gods will be with us also, and they are not too pleased with the Dodgers and their "deferral contracts". Luck will be on our side and we will get it done. Bo Bichette will be the 1988 version of Kirk Gibson.

Time to get revenge for the "Fake Ohtani Flight" to Toronto in December 2023.
**** that Canadian investor who was involved in it, intentionally or not. Ban him from the Rogers Centre if he shows up

Since 1903, the American League champion has played in the World Series against the National League champion with only two exceptions: 1904, when the NL champion New York Giants refused to play their AL counterpart, and 1994, when a players' strike resulted in the cancellation of the Series.

Now I'm all for trying to win but alternatively we could do what the NY Giants did in 1904 and claim superiority over the inferior league and refuse to play.

Key for this series will be making the Dodgers rotation work and getting their pitch counts up and beating up on their early bullpen. Saski coming alive as a closer is really annoying cause before that their options were like Trienen and Scott. This team has had success against elite starters all year so I believe.

The Bo wrinkle is interesting I imagine Springer cant play OF so do you do Bo at 2nd base? Only a pinch hitter that you immediately sub for Davis or IKF? (I imagine Davis starts the Snell games). Id really try him at 2nd we need all the offense we can get.

The Brewers sweep was impressive but their offense in the Phillies series gives me optimism.

If the Dodgers play their A or B game, they are winning this series. They could even win it playing their C/D game if we are not on. But if we are our normal, we can beat the Dodgers playing their C game.

And teams are fully capable of playing their C or D game over a 7 game stretch.

So Scherzer or Bieber as the #3 starter in the series. Is there any debate here, or its a non-discussion and we go with Bieber.

I think Bieber with the short leash. He's mercurial. He was bad in NY, decent in Seattle, and not great yesterday. You never know what you get with him. Thankfully with Bassitt seemingly read to go we have more options now if we need to pull a struggling starter.

I'd like not to gamble with Scherzer too often unless we absolutely have to.
