Ill add some positivity after last night, we had 8 hits and have been the better offensive team since game 3 (9 innings of straw/ikf/heineman/France not withstanding). Dodgers had another xBA game below .200 they really strung everything in one inning. Also we scored 6.5 runs per game at home this season. Also we got to Ohtani, Glasnow, and Snell who are pitching tmr.

Also does it say more about Max or how they feel about Bieber that hes not starting this game? Lmao he did look pretty terrible in 2/4 starts.

Where are the best Blue Jays Watch Parties? It will be nice to see a Game 7 wth hundreds of others, instead of sitting in a living room and watching it on my TV by myself. This team has shown it is been resilient all year. Hopefully tonight goes like Game 7 against Seattle, with an epic ending and celebration.
Let's have faith, and get the job done. I believe this team is God's Chosen One to win this year. Just like Kansas City was in 2015 unfortunately. Be humble, and have faith in God that he will deliver for this city after 32 years of heartbreak!

Lineup wise id probably swap Lukes and Barger honestly I kinda want Vlad hitting 2nd to get as many ABs as possible tonight. Would consider
Springer
Vlad
Barger
Bo
Varsho
Kirk or Clement
Lukes
Kirk or Clement
Gimenez
I guess you could argue Varsho 6th with Kirk or Clement ahead but I wouldnt love a bunch of lefties set up at the bottom.

Given the quality of pitching we faced last night we hit the ball pretty well.
But the hits were well not timed and that happens some games. Either getting hits after 2 outs, or not getting hits with RISP, or not stringing stuff. Dodgers strung all their hits together.
We didn't hit in the clutch last night, but we have all season and in the playoffs, so I'm not concerned about it.

Every game I’ve watched outside w/ a watch party (Raps included), we’ve lost.
I’m staying my ass at home today.

Scherzer may not like it, but we have to be ready to give him the quick pull tonight even if he is just struggling mildly. We have plenty of arms to get us 27 outs tonight. That being said hope he throws a gem.
Hoffman, Varland, and Bassitt could be used to get outs anywhere.
There is a lane between hitters #4-#9 to bring in Dominquez.
Fluharty for a lane of lefties in the middle of the game. Even Lauer if its before the fifth inning for a few batter.
Fisher (or any of the above) could be used in the 2nd or 3rd as the intermediary to get out of the inning, so Bieber starts the next inning fresh.
Even Yesavage could be looked at for an inning of work.
The only guys who are a no go are Brandon Little and Kevin Gausman.

Re: World Series Game 7, November 1, 2025 - Dodgers @ Blue Jays, 8PM
When a season like this ends — especially one that’s been such a rollercoaster and now hangs on a Game 7 of the World Series — there’s naturally a mix of exhilaration, dread, and impending nostalgia. I have been getting near-daily doses of adrenaline and dopamine, connecting deeply with every pitch and moment. After tonight baseball ends. No matter the outcome my brain will misses it — almost like a form of withdrawal.
Let’s balance our expectation holding space for both possibilities, giving ourselves room to process either joy or disappointment without losing perspective.
Let’s be grateful for the opportunity to witness
this great season and focus on the experience rather than the outcome.

So Dodgers is starting Ohtani as pitcher.
Dodgers biggest weakness in the bullpen is about to be nullified with all hands on deck on its starters

Love Ohtani and he absolutely lives for these big moments. But I think we get to him tonight

I am the opposite. My record is a perfect 6-0, including when Canada won Gold in hockey in the Olympics a couple of times, the 2016 World Cup of hockey, and the Raptors in 2019. Hopefully it will be a perfect 7-0 in Game 7, and we all get an extra hour of sleep after the celebrations all night in the Streets of Toronto after a Jays win.
Last time I went to a Watch Party was to see the 2019 Raptors pull it off. Almost 6 and a half years later, I will drag my butt down to hopefully see that magic rub off on this 2025 Jays team. I will do my part, and also say a prayer to the almighty God, as we all should.

Your lineup makes sense although I would probably keep Vlad 3rd. Would switch Lukes with Barger as you suggested, or Barger with Varsho, but I think the Jays are going to stay steady with they have been doing,
Keep the lefthanders split as you have it -- don't have any back to back. Dodgers have a bunch of lefty relievers so don't make it easy for Roberts to plan, by lining up 2 of them back to back.
I know some want Clement earlier, but what makes our lineup work is that we have guys hitting pretty well spaced out through the lineup. I'm good with him hitting there.

Potentially nullified - it does bring in a new variable of taking starters out of the routine and putting them in relief on "throw" days, which sometimes causes an issue.
Ohtani is on short rest, Glasnow on back to back days, Snell and his "bad luck" loser mentality. If may work out beautifully for the Dodgers, but there is enough disruption from routine for all of them, that it is possible that one of them really struggles. And when (if) that happens we have to jump on that opportunity and string things effectively that inning.

Re: World Series Game 7, November 1, 2025 - Dodgers @ Blue Jays, 8PM
I'll be staying home - no watch parties in my area that I am aware of (there was some outside for the Raps but that was the summer). I find I get too distracted if I go with a friend to a sports bar.
That being said if the Jays are up by 3 or 4 runs later in the game (say after 6) I might jump in my car and race about 5 minutes down to the sports bar.
