Last year he had great stats but will he even come close to those stats this year. I surely hope so because he will be a major role if the jays go to the postseason.

I think it'll take him a little longer to get going but I don't think he'll hit 30+HRs. Prove me wrong!

My god. I knew his head was big, but not Ken Griffey Jr's brain tonic diet big.

Anyway, I don't think he'll have as good a season as he did last year. But he should still be good for around 30 HRs, 90-100 RBIs?

I think he will run into some injury problems. .267 AVG 28- 32 HRs and 86 to 90 RBIs

lol, i think the pic might be misleading, as he was wearing his hat high...

but yeah, frank is the man!!

He doesn't need to have a year like last year. The contract might say he should but in reality... with 1 through 6 loaded with contact and power hitters, he just needs to be good, not great.

But at the same time, I'm worried that he'll break down. He reminds me of the Hakeem Olajuwon signing 5 years back... an old guy who had a good season perviously (Frank had a great one tho) but will break down eventually and end up becoming worthless.

But man, would I love to see this not happen and the Big Hurt does exactly what he did last year. Go Jays Go.

I'm fully expecting 40 HR's this year for the simple reason that he plays half of his games in the launching pad known as the Rogers Centre. He played half of his games last year in OAK where that ballpark yields a whole lot less HR's then in TOR.

I'm just keepin my fingers crossed that he doesn't get injured for an extended period of time.

I think he will do some hurting this year. Not as big as last year but should be a great year for him.

I feel that he will have a better year then last year. Maybe not in home run production but RBIs. I feel he will be given way more chances to hit in runs in the Jays lineup to the A's.

well he's my favorite player so i might check in here from time to time but obviously my answer is he'll do great, i loved getting to see him play alot of games last year though it was at the expense of kicking the rangers ass.

will this board eventually become as big as the raptor board?

I am not so concerned about injury problems as he is only DHing...

Swing the bat and run...hopefully this keeps him healthy enough

Who let studcrackers in here? Someone needs to step up the security.
Yes, we're hoping this board reaches the grand heights of the Raptors forum, although that will clearly take some time.

His presence alone in the batters box is so imposing on the opposing teams pitchers... he'll do his thing but I don't quite see him putting up numbers like last year.... 30-35 HR 100-110 RBI with hopefully a .270 + avg and i'll be happy with that...

Frank has 30 pounds on Troy...the man is a 275 pound absolute monster!

I think he'll be solid, but the Jays have a somewhat realistic chance of going BACK TO BACK TO BACK TO BACK this year! lol and with Rios maybe another BACK.

really, they Jays can hit HRs around 7 deep which is amazing!
