It took a bases-loaded single by Troy Glaus to move the Jays back in front and a following RBI ground out by Alex Rios provided the Jays with a 5-3 victory over the Tigers, the first extra-inning win on opening day in club history.

"The biggest thing is given us a chance to win, a chance to be in it and against a good team it's nice to get out here with the first one," he said of knocking off the reigning American League champs.
Time and again, though, Halladay had a hard time putting the Tigers away after getting ahead in the count.
Jays run wild and win

"This year we'll take what they give us. If Vernon steals and they walk Frank Thomas, we have Glaus coming up. If Vernon steals and they walk Glaus, we have Alex Rios behind him."
Sounds like an interesting theory, this stealing bases concept. Even if the man with the golden arm, Ivan Rodriguez, is behind the plate.

Bullpen and Glaus equal victory
By Cathal Kelly - Source
"Troy's the kinda guy who needs that spark of adrenaline the season brings," Jays manager John Gibbons said Sunday, explaining his third baseman's .158 March batting average.
Glaus fought back pain and an inconsistent swing all spring. Yesterday didn't start out much better for him

There is no organization as of yet to speak of, I can handle the weekdays, I need someone to do the weekends though
Edit: WTB, I tried to PM you but it says I can't...?
Huskies says he can do Monday, Wednesday, Friday, if that's the case I can do Tuesday and Thursday without a problem, we still need someone to pick up Weekends though, I can do it occasionally but definitely not every time...
