Pitching Matchup
AJ Burnett (R) (1-1, 7.27 ERA) vs Chad Durbin (R) (0-1 11.57 ERA)

MLB.com Jays note:
Outfielder Adam Lind, 23, will make his season debut for the Jays after the top prospect was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse on Friday. A spot on the 25-man roster became available Thursday when Toronto placed left fielder Reed Johnson on the 15-day disabled list with a herniated disc in his lower back. In 2006, Lind appeared in 18 games for the Jays, hitting .367 (22-for-60) with two home runs and eight RBIs.

Manager John Gibbons said the Blue Jays aren't calling up Lind to sit on the bench.

"He's going to play," Gibbons said. "He got some time last September under his belt, [so] it's not his debut and the kid can flat out hit."

Jays third baseman Troy Glaus will be unavailable for the second day in a row because of a bone spur in his left heel and a sore hamstring.

ESPN.com Tigers note:
Durbin has had success against the Blue Jays, going 2-0 with a 1.77 ERA in four career appearances with three starts against them.

I think until we get busier, this will be the last series with individual game threads. We will go to Series Threads until we actually get some people posting around here.
