Got creative, but its not like this exercise is completely realistic anyway. And I don't see the point in doing this without a 25 man roster so I chose that too.
C: Carlos Delgado (he caught in the minors)
1B: Fred McGriff
2B: Roberto Alomar
SS: Tony Fernandez
3B: Paul Molitor (again, he has some experience there)
LF: Jesse Barfield
CF: Devon White (I'd pick Wells but I just can't stand the guy)
RF: Joe Carter
DH: George Bell
Bench: Shannon Stewart, Rance Mullinicks, Orlando Hudson, John Olerud, Benji Molina (in case we need someone to steal a base)
Rotation: Dave Steib, Roy Halladay, Jimmy Key, Pat Hentgen, Jack Morris (again I'd pick Clemens but I can't stand the guy)
Relief: Tom Henke, Duane Ward, BJ Ryan, Paul Quantrill, Marc Eichorn, Jim Clancy-- man could that guy eat innings, look at his CG totals.
Edit: Manager-- Bobby Cox

Ernie Whitt is spelled Whitt.
Anyways, for my vote:
C) Borders, I guess.
1b) Delgado
2b) Alomar
3b) Gruber
ss) Fernandez
lf) Bell
cf) Wells
rf) Carter
dh) Molitor
if) Hudson or Garcia
of) Moseby
SP) Stieb, Halladay, Wells, Clemens, Hentgen
RP) Henke, Ward, Eichorn, Ryan, Koch.
Manager: Cox
Lineup would go:
1) Fernandez
2) Alomar
3) Molitor
4) Bell
5) Delgado
6) Carter
7) Wells
Borders
9) Gruber

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

I came up with all-time teams for every franchise a few years ago.
This was what I had for the Jays:
The criteria was:
Here's what I think it should be today:
C - Ernie Whitt
1B - Carlos Delgado (over John Olerud and Fred McGriff)
2B - Roberto Alomar
3B - Kelly Gruber
SS - Tony Fernandez
OF - George Bell
OF - Jesse Barfield
OF - Joe Carter
DH - Paul Molitor (over Vernon Wells and Alex Rios)
SP - Dave Steib, Jimmy Key, Roy Halladay, Pat Hentgen, Roger Clemens (over David Wells)
RP - Tom Henke
My one mistake I think was ignoring Hentgen.
This was what I had for the Jays:
Blue Jays.
C - Ernie Whitt
1B - Carlos Delgado (over John Olerud and Fred McGriff)
2B - Roberto Alomar
3B - Kelly Gruber
SS - Tony Fernandez
OF - George Bell
OF - Jesse Barfield
OF - Joe Carter
(DH - Paul Molitor)
SP - Dave Steib, Jimmy Key, Roy Halladay, David Wells, Roger Clemens (Toronto-era)
RP - Tom Henke
The criteria was:
Using: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF, OF, OF, (DH), five SP, and one or two RP.
DH can be factored in or left out.
Usually the DH is the best hitter not chosen.
But some AL teams use their actual best DH.
In general a player has to have at least two great years or three good years to be considered a member of a team. But some teams (especially expansion teams) don't have a player who had ANY good years at a certain position. So, for example, the Padres get Alomar at second out of pity.
Note: Players are strictly judged by how they performed for each particular team. In the case of Renteria on the Marlins, for example, you're supposed to think of him strictly as he was on the Marlins. The Marlins get no credit for how Renteria has performed in St. Louis. (But he still might be Florida's best SS, of course.) That goes for all the players and pitchers.
Here's what I think it should be today:
C - Ernie Whitt
1B - Carlos Delgado (over John Olerud and Fred McGriff)
2B - Roberto Alomar
3B - Kelly Gruber
SS - Tony Fernandez
OF - George Bell
OF - Jesse Barfield
OF - Joe Carter
DH - Paul Molitor (over Vernon Wells and Alex Rios)
SP - Dave Steib, Jimmy Key, Roy Halladay, Pat Hentgen, Roger Clemens (over David Wells)
RP - Tom Henke
My one mistake I think was ignoring Hentgen.
