Ohka vs Wakefield

Toronto battered, bruised, has no confidence coming into it. Sox are red-hot, had back-to-back-to-back-to-back (4) homeruns in a row yesterday.

Jays are down 2 - 1, Ohka pitched well until running into trouble in the 4th inning. Jays offensively struggle, while the questionable starting pitching delivers on what it was asked....

3-2 Jays.

We have to stop this losing skid TONIGHT!

just as me nad my roomate were trashing the middle of the lineup (especially frank thomas) - that was so ominous, i called it... said he'd smash one, and he did

This game can turn around our series - it's close, against a great hitting team, and we're in the position now that it's all up to our bullpen, which has been poor so far this season. This game here is big now.

Bats woke up today and finally gave Ohka enough run support. Really like what I have seen from Hill to start the year, and hopefully this gets Thomas into a bit of a groove as he is making good contact lately.

Pena is just not a CF, that was funny.

I called Aaron Hill a breakout candidate before the year, but even I wasn't expecting this. Four home runs already and a much better BB/PA rate. If he keeps up the latter, and progresses nicely in the power department, we're looking at a pretty darn good 2B.

Dude has yet to give up a run, has a WHIP of 1.00, and has as many strikeouts as innings pitched.

Big win for the Jays and with Halladay pitching tommorow i would expect the Jays to sweep the short two game series.

You'd think Gibbons might have tried him before now in the eighth inning, considering his spring training...Or maybe not made Downs a loogy, or not made two starters into short specialists...god help us....

GIBBONS!!! ARGGGGHHH!!

The Jays had to score 10 runs on the day Halladay pitches and could not wait until Towers pitches. :nonono: I predict that we will only score 2 runs tomorrow.
