The Toronto Blue Jays have come through the first month of the season with a winning record despite already putting eight players on the disabled list, the same number they did all of last season.

I have a feeling once we get all our pieces back we're going to start to steamroll the easier parts of our sched coming up.

Dustin McGowan has been called up and will start Thursday. I would have preferred to see him gain more confidence with a longer stint in AAA. Towers could have been used for this start, while promoting Geremi Gonzalez. However, should Dustin succeed in the show, it will be a tremendous lift to this team.
