Can Doc win another Cy Young?

Placing all bias aside, do you think Doc has a good shot at another Cy Young?
I think if he can stay healthy, he should have a great shot. The Jays have horrible relief pitching, so Doc may have to pitch a lot more complete games.
But hopefully are powerful bats can get him big enough leads so he wont' have to pitch 9 freakin innings everytime to get a W.
Here's hoping Doc...you've been the one bright spot on this team in the last 10 years, and you deserve another one for giving the Jays some hope.

Given that Cy Young voters generally vote for whoever has the most wins, and our bullpen has been excellent at squandering those, I don't really see it happening. Not until or bullpen improves, in any case.

Though STJ's point is true, if he keeps pitching into the 8th and 9th, that eliminates a lot of the bullpen worries.
Up to a quick 4-0 start, with Santana (his main competition) out of the gate at a .500 clip, its certainly as possible as ever.

And his ERA is at 2.28, thats less then both Santana and Beckett. I also think that voters will take into account the starts where he pitched well, but didn't get the win in. I don't mind him pitching late into eight or nine innings anymore because his pitch count is still reasonable.

They also tend to focus on IP and they are tracking quality starts more and more, so as Insider said, that is in his favour. His strikeouts are up this year thanks to his better curveball as well.

This is Doc's year and he is going to the win Cy Young award. I am tired of hearing how great Santana is and nobody talking about Doc.

there is no guarantee he would of won it any of those year but it does take away the opportunity for him to win it.

The big factor is his health.
If he can stay healthy a whole season i think he will be right up there. he has proven to be a workhorse and CG look really good on pitchers and can be a detrmining factor when choosing who wins the CY young.
Halladays biggest problem is his health and if he can overcome that i have no doubt he can do it again
EDIT: SOLID IM A REALLL GM!!!

I thought the last 2 games that maybe teams figured him out. He did have to give up his cutter. But luckily we can blame those games on his appendix.
