Mcgowan is doing a great job tonight, hopefully they can keep it up. I've seen the Yankees come back in a game too many times already...

The Clippard vs Litsch matchup should be nice...prolly the last start for Clippard with the Yanks with Roger coming in.

McGowan looked nice until the homer to Matsui. If only he got Jeter out that inning.

I'm so happy that Dustin finally had a good outing. This guy is our future #2 starter. I just hope he can be more consistent and pitch like he pitched today. Way to go kiddo.

I hope this is the last start for Litsch. He is NOT ready.

Good start to the series, we need to go on a winning streak and Yankees need to go on a long losing streak.

I have to agree, but dont send him back to AA, I would put him in AAA the rest of the season whether he is good or bad.

What if he has a great game on Wednsday? I think that might make the decision a bit harder.

Anyways, i'm really surprised that Pettitte is doing so well so far. I thought coming back to AL he'd have era in the 3-4 range. Hopefully Marcum has a nice game and we score some runs.

A lefty, a cutter, and a small sample size all equal--he gets bombed tomorrow against our lefty lovin' lineup.

Good game by McGowan. Hopefully he can keep the momentum. Did anyone noticed that, especially when pitching from the stretch, he looked like Halladay?

Hopefully the bats stay hot.

I like Mcgowan because he pitches pretty quickly, just like Doc.

Wow, what a play by Hill. That took a lot of stones with 2 out.

Nice win for the Jays and if they find a way to sweep the Yanks i predict either Torrie or Cashman will be fired.

I dont think firing Torre will hurt the whole organization as much as firing Cashman. Cash is doing an admirable job of rebuilding the minor league system and getting things back to where they were around 1990, and if he is fired, the next GM will just be under the gun to win now and totally negate all the work Cash is doing. Buster Olney wrote a fantastic piece in his blog about this last week.
