it seems like many ppl agree with A-Rod's play. Honestly, A-Rod did nothing against the rule, but it is a classless act from a player at his level.

"That's Toronto's fault. Catch the ball," suggests slugger Barry Bonds. "Get over it."
So from now on, when two players (from the same team chasing a infield flyball), they should risk head colliding injuries and continue to catch??? I sure hope Barry Bonds plays infield.

I think the biggest thing is that A-Rod wouldn't have done it if it was Glaus in at 3rd. That is the sign of a coward. And Glaus probably would have decked him.

So that play really wasn't against the rules at all? I thought you couldn't deliberately distract a player trying to make a play.

It is against the rules, Eric Smith talked about it a lot during the radio show.. and while he liked the play, it is against the rules

And I'm a little bit disappointed on now the Jays didn't do jack to retaliate the following half inning.. what a bunch of pu$$ies they are.. Look at last nights boston/new york game.. Proctor beans Youkilis (sp?) after their player was hit.. I think the Jays need to stand up for their own players more

I don't know if throwing at someones head is the right way to do that...

well i know it was wrong to throw at the players head.. but my point is that the pitchers should've at least sent a message the next half inning..

i think it was the 9th inning, so the pitcher cant do anything. However, the season is not over yet, we will play NYY again.
