How would you like to see Jays lineup order when Reed and Lyle are both back from their injuries? One thing I hate about the current lineup we have right is that we have Alex Rios hitting as the lead off hitter. The Line-up I would love to see when our lineup is healthy is:

1. Reed Johnson, LF
2. Aaron Hill, 2B
3. Alex Rios, RF
4. Vernon Wells, CF
5. Troy Glaus, 3B
6. Lyle Overbay, 1B
7. Frank Thomas, DH
8. Greg Zaun, C
9. Royce Clayton, SS

This order will enable us to have the worst cleanup hitter and most anti-typical 7th spot in the league.

Gibbons was high on Overbay at the 2 spot because it mixes in a Lefty early on in the order, but it would be hard to move Rios as far down as 6.

This is the most likly order but i would bet Thomas still hits 5 and Overbay 6.

But what do we do with Stairs and Lind when Reed comes back? I guess Lind and Thigpen get sent down and Stairs returns to being the backup OF and 1B?

The lineup that put up the best average the first month of the season in the AL.

Just looking at our line up (in any order) shows how much potential we have on offense. If everyone is producing and not in slumps, then the Jays would be doing serious damage to opposing pitchers.

Let's hope they pick it up for the rest of the season.

I want Vernon Wells to really pick up his game, hes been in a real slump this year. Frankiee has been a lil dissapointing this year and along with glaus.

Looks like the lineup change did well tonight for Vernon. I think he's coming out of his slump now.

Zaun is great at the 2 spot.

Frank just needs to stop swinging at bad pitches and he'll be fine.

That's exactly as I see it as well. Even though I will we had some more lefties to throw in the lineup so Rios could bat 2nd.
