Now I have missed a good week of Jays ball but seeing as tho Overbay is day to day I believe this is the first time we'll see Thigpen starting behind the plate. And Vernon's batting cleanup... hopefully our lefty lovin lineup will be up to the challenge of Santana!

Not a good start for Santana. Pretty uncharacteristic to see him let up three runs in the first inning alone

Another home run for Thomas, the 4th of the game for the Jays. Not Santana's best outing

Good game to watch, and even better that the blue jays won.
Looks like frank has been seeing the ball a lot better lately because not only is he hitting only home runs, but his average has been creeping up too.

Big win tonight.
Dusty shut down the Twins and the bats came alive again.

Silva vs. Litsch tomorrow, hopefully Baby Face can bounce back from his 4.1 inning outing against the Mariners

If they win tomorrow, then they have a chance to put together a nice long winning streak. The next series are against some bad teams including the white sox, d-rays, and rangers (with the yankees somewhere in between).
I don't care about playoffs cos we're pretty much out of it, but i just want them to finish ahead of the yankees.

Gibbons has to be the worst manager in the league for lineup management.
Howie Clark batting leadoff? What in the world?!?!

Forgot they were playing today... but 13-1 win?!
looks like the offense is finally coming around. Now hopefully we can sweep the next few series too.

If scoring 11 runs in an inning (with only 1 HR) doesnt instill some much needed confidence into this club, I dont know what will.

What channel was it on? I couldn't find it. However nice win 13-1 is pretty sweet.

This is only going to make J.P. into a buyer and not a seller.

I say that's a good thing. This club is close IMO. They haven't been healthy for that long and now that almost everyone is back except for Chacin/Ryan/AJ I can see this team making a run.
If they were sellers, they'd have to replace parts/players and you really don't want to take a risk like that with the team they have. Frank Thomas is nearing the end, but we do have Stairs/Lind/Griffin to take over for him....not Stairs....but more of Lind/Griffin if we were to replace him within. SS is another story. Both Johnny Mac and Royce are FA's and I only see McDonald back...they'll need to plug the hole....probably not from the farm though....although I'd like to see what Santos has got.
Nice to see the Jays above .500 for at least one day.
