Marcum and McGowan are tight. When the two home-grown Jays were at Syracuse they often talked about what lay ahead for them once they got to The Show.
"We thought that we had a chance to come up here and do something with this club if we got a break,'' Marcum recalled. "That we could help get them to the next level."
