jerseys that never made it

Post#1 » by Geddy » Mon Aug 20, 2007 7:56 pm

Read an interesting piece on ESPN.com, Page2 section about experimental jerseys that never made that cut.

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/st ... kas/070816

there were a bunch of blue jays ones there, and i'm glad some of those didn't make it out.

I'll just post some f the pics here if anyone doesn't want to see the site.

The charcoal caps were used as part of an alternate uniform. They looked good at first, but it just didn't look right after awhile. I prefer the black hats.

And who designed those other jerseys? They look so unprofessional. And why would they put Delgado's name on the jersey? If I'm not mistaken, the font used in the last jersey is a part of the new unifrom. But Delgado was gone already, no?

I wish they took advantage of the whole "Blue" part of their name and made some classy yet visually pleasing jerseys. The new ones look too much like they were conceived in some board room in an attempt to try and make money of young people.
