Aaron Hill's straight steal of home proves to be the turning point in 3-2 Blue Jays win over the Yankees at Rogers Centre. It was only the second straight steal of home by a Blue Jays' base runner.

Jesse Litsch makes his MLB debut vs. Baltimore Orioles

Former Tampa Bay Devil Rays' batboy Jesse Litsch wins his first MLB start vs. the Baltimore Orioles in front of 30,958 at Rogers Centre. Litsch disposed of the Orioles in 2 hours and 6 minutes, in what he called "the best day of his life".


Option E:

Blue Jays turn a game ending double play vs. Mariners

The Blue Jays turn an amazing 4-6-3 game ending double play to beat the Seattle Mariners. Toronto would go on to sweep the series, and come to within 5 games of wild card leading Mariners.

Frank's 500th probably would have seemed more special had it been done in Toronto. Just didnt have any feel to it on the road, especially a non-televised game.

I would say this is about right.

Rios in the Homerun Derby is definitely up there.

Mine would be like:

3)Aaron Hill stealing home
2)Rios at the Home Run Derby
1)McGowan flirting with the No hitter.

3) Frank's 3HR game
2) Rios at the HR derby
1) Hill stealing home!

Hill stealing home has got to be the most exciting moment, not just for the Jays, but at least top 10 this season in the League.

Highlight of the season was the combination of these 4 gentlemen.



Because that turned into the discovery of these 2.

Aaron Hill stealing home was my favorite, followed by Jesse Litsch's debut

As much as I enjoy a Jesse Litsch type debut, I feel the need to wait to see if it was a fluke, to really, really enjoy it. I mean, to feel like that was the beginning of something special.

By all accounts, he was a fluke because no one is pencilling him into the fifth spot in the rotation.
