Who have the Jays aquired this offseason?
If someone wouldn't mind putting up a list of who we signed(contract+money included) I'd really appreciate it.

Rod Barajas
Add Rod Barajas now. Isn't this the guy we tried signing last year and he balked after we thought we had him?
Well if so, he comes much cheaper this year. LOL

Yup, looks like we inked Barajas for a twp-year deal worth $5.25 million. Not bad, considering he made $5.25 million in one year alone last year with the Phillies.
I would say he's a solid backup to Zaun, but nothing else. Not much of a hitter (.230 avg with four home runs and 10 RBIs in 48 games last year), but will be a big improvement in throwing out runners compared to Zaun (thrown out 33.7 percent of basestealers over his career).
I guess the beef JP had with him after Baraja snubbed us last year wasn't enough for us to stop signing him.

Actually, Barajas signed the two-year/$5.25 million contract with the Jays last season, but he eventually changed agents and backed out of that deal, which forced the Jays to re-sign Zaun.
Barajas will make $1.2 million on a one-year deal with the Jays in 2008.

Its a two year deal I've heard. The only thing is I don't know who's option the second year is. I'm guessing/hoping its a team option.

It's one-year with an option. According to Blair, the option is based on games started, so it's something the Blue Jays should have control over (unless Zaun misses a ton of time).

Zaun and Barajas are going to share AB's either way. I'd like to see Zaun play primarily against RHP, Barajas primarily against LHP with RB coming in defensively late in games.

Nurse is below average at best.
Masai is overrated.
I dont get how so many people believe in the raptors, they have zero to chance to win it all.
