The writer is a hardcore Jays fan who usually has a little bit of homer in him. But he does recognize what I think the key issue is with this team. The budget isn't the reason we can't compete with the Yanks and Sox but moreso all the blunders the front office has made since Gillick left. We have given away a lot of top notch talent with little return over the years.
