Jays Offered Catalanotto For Cueto In 2006

Post#1 » by stro4swift » Tue Apr 8, 2008 11:51 pm

SI.com - While Johnny Cueto, who has been dominant this season, was in the Midwest League in 2006, the Blue Jays offered outfielder Frank Catalanotto for the right hander.

Cincinnati GM Wayne Krivsky, on the job only a few months, didn't reject it out of hand simply because he was still getting acquainted with the Reds' farm system.

I like your moxie, JP. Ripping off n00bs is a staple of fantasy leagues, but it rarely works at the Major League level.

(that may be the first time that I have ever typed n00b...Firefox spell-checker rejects real words, but has no problem with that?)
