Looks like the recent problems at the Rogers Centre might end $2 Tuesdays. I was at the opener and had beer spilled on me three times and watched a guy get ejected for throwing a beer across our section.

On Tuesday I was there and watched numerous fist fights occur in the 500 section.

This is the problem with the casual fans...they're not there for the game they're there to get loaded and cause trouble. Hopefully it won't cost us what can be a great promotion.

...on a side note... people wouldn't bring in their own beer and alcohol if they didn't have to pay $9 for a bloody beer. But the craziness definitely needs to stop.

Most times that I have been to a Jays game over the past few years I've noticed stupid behavior from drunk fans. A lot of them are drunk even before the game has started and so you have to deal with it for all 9 innings. And this was in the 100 or 200 levels so that's not confined to the 500s. Friday night games are when they are most drunk.

Baseball is far too boring to the casual fan. Heck sometimes I even want to kill myself from boredom while watching a game.

This is tough for the Blue Jays because they need to find fans from somewhere. I'm guessing they're advertising around college campuses. You can see all the drunks are college boys out for a fun night. And the truth is.....baseball is so damn boring to watch. They need to figure out a way to keep the pitches going.

But anyways, now Rogers has to tell fans not to come. If the drunk college kids don't, then who will? Well, people will come if the team looks like they could get into the playoffs. That's a lot harder to accomplish.

I heard outside the Rogers Centre, the punks were walking down the street and kicking cars.
