Placeholder Yanks/Jays that in no way ruins our chances

I repeat: this is not a series thread, because EvilRyu earned us a series victory and thus the right to make this thread. I have consulted with two shamans and they declared that this would result in no jinx.
However, this is the place for series discussion until Ryu is released by whatever hostage takers surely abducted him, as that's the only reason I can imagine for failing to post a new thread when the Jays are on a massive three-game win bender.

We don't need Rios or Wells on this team! lol.
Great crowd and atmosphere tonight.

Doc two-hits the Yankees in under 2h, 30m...booooooring. The guy is as exciting as watching grass dominate.

likely out of it. About the same as our favourite summertime team
and yes good performance by Doc... following the script he detailed in spring training. The jays get up and play well against the good clubs... but the other 2/3rds of the league, well now there a different story

I haven't been watching...how's Adam Lind doing these days? I notice he's been with the team for a few weeks now.

Yeah I guess I'm guilty for giving up on the team, I watched today's game though and it was great. First Jays game I watched in a month I think.

Sorry Schad for my absence! I'm usually busy on Fridays, and today was no different!
I have no problem with you taking over the series thread, and so far, it's working out well

Darrell Rasner (4-7, 4.94)
vs.

Jesse Litsch (8-5, 4.01)
Jays have gone on a surprising streak of 4 games in a row, looking to extend that today with an early game.
Let's go get 'em !

Lind has been great, with the obligatory small sample size warning. His splits since returning are among the best on the team over that period.

Jesse didn't show up today..
Good start to the game with the 4-1 lead, but errors cost us the game.
Let's see if we can bounce back tomorrow and get the series win and move one game under .500 at the all star break.
Lind has proven me wrong. I never thought he would bounce back this season and hit like he has the past couple of weeks. I think Cito has something to do with his success recently. Good to see.

Heh, could our line-up be any worse than the one starting tonight?
Immediate edit: Scutaro hits a three-run home run and the Jays have an early four run lead. I'll shut up now.

So I guess AJ bumped his trade value up today

Yeah, and hopefully since the Yanks were watching they might be interested in AJ.

Tonight? You meant this afternoon.
I wasn't expecting a win today. The Jays suprised me. AJ just bumped up his trade value. I expect him to be traded by the end of the month. Let's see what we get in return for him.
