Lost game 1, onto game 2. Burnett vs. Feldman is the matchup.
This team is so exciting that I often feel the need to wear a party hat while watching their games.

darn, that game 1 loss was a heart breaker!!!!!

Let's see how Burnett fares today.. 8:05 start FYI..

Mods: How do you all feel about series threads that stretches maybe 3-5 series? The season is slowly winding down, and traffic to this board is as well... making a series thread for each series might be too ambitious...

Disappointed that BJ blew it last night. Would have been a morale boosting win if they got it, but instead it was too good to be true.

Another win or AJ. He's really gone ahead of my expectations for him for this season in terms of staying healthy and pitching well.

That wilkerson "catch" made me larf :)

Whatever works for everyone. I'm usually not in charge of doing series threads, so I'll leave that call up to whoever makes the next one. It is true that since this team is unlikely to make some sort of run towards relevance that traffic will probably continue to dive until the offseason, so series threads that last a little while seem to make sense.

I think I have permanent neurological damage, and I can't feel my right leg. I suffered a stroke after watching BJ blowup in the ninth from yesterday's 9-8 loss. I'll never be the same. Thanks BJ!

The anemic offense broke me down in similar fashion earlier in the season.

damn I thought the Jays would be on sunday night baseball for a change but it turns out it will be another game.

sunday night baeball????? It's being broadcasted by ESPN? but i thought they were shwoing another game, a National league one..

ANyways, tonight is an 8:05 start, rubber match, David Purcey against Luis Mendoza. Does tanking have the same effect in MLB than in NBA? I guess it's not as rewarding to do so.....

Hey J.P., still think we're contenders?

Blame it on the injuries. That would be J.P.'s excuse again.. :noway:

7 years now, and what has this team and organization accomplished?? Nothing.

WOW, i didnt realize he's been here for almost 7 years!!!!!!! Thats nuts.. if he seriously doesn't get fired this off-season, and enters his 8th year as GM, we should just forfeit the season
