Good idea EvilRyu!

Let's see what Richmond can do tonight. I hope the Jays bring up some more prospects now that there's a very slim chance of us making a run, and let them play out the remainder of the season.

I think all my anger for this team has been used up for the season. Now it's just laughing like a lunatic

What is this weird emotion I'm having right now? I think this is happiness. Back over .500! Watch out Rays, here we come! (We will promptly drop the next two against Oakland and the pain and misery will set back in)

The Jays are such a tease

No that Jays are what they are.. a .500 team at best. No better or worse.

Good win tonight by the Jays. Nice comeback!

Did I witness a sacrifice earlier in the game by Mcdonald with Mench on first with nobody out?? Did we score a run in that inning because of the sacrifice, or am I dreaming?

Btw, did anyone else notice Scutaro with a leg kick at the plate? Even the commentators noted this. He hit the ball hard today. Could it be because of this? Let's see how this new approach will play for the remainder of the season.

I actually didn't mind a late extra-inning game.. it's funny how Rod Black was all over Mench's ass about that hit, insisting he wasn't "part of the team".. haha the dude is a scrub

Marcum just came out of a tough tough inning w/o allowing a run with Bases being loaded and nobody out. CRAZY!

LOL at evilRyu.

We need to beat teams like Oakland and our next opponents Cleveland.

Good outing by Marcum tonight. Lind with another good game. 2 for 3.

Barajas looking good. Let's hope he keeps it up.

Let's see if the Jays can go for the sweep tomorrow!

Are we 2 games over .500?? wow.

Went to 2 out of 3 games in the oakland series. Gave it to Barton the 1st night, and to Hanahan and Waller (3rd base coach) the 2nd night. It was classic goodtimes... that is until the grandma and her 2 grandkids sat right in front of me  ...

In any event, the jays are stinging the ball finally and actually look like there playing there best ball of the season finally. In the end I think it's too little too late, but 7.5 out of the wildcard, IF... we can get hummin and get on a run, maybe get inside 5 games by september... well who knows, we'd maybe atleast have meaningful games...

Adam Lind is absolutely ripping the ball. He's our only guy who consistently is pounding the ball and getting basehits. And Barajas has been outstanding. He may have went through a funk and I don't care about his numbers. He has been stinging the ball almost everytime as well. Even Rios is finally coming around. We get wells back, and marcum rounds into form, you get AJ pitching well and Doc... is it possible, could we possibly make a push and have meaningful baseball come september?? well this fan hopes so, that's for sure

That a boy! spykelee!!

Man we all need to go to one of the games this year. Me, you, evilRyu, rkid, Schadenfreude and whoever else wants to come along.

We should all give it to the opposing team. Who ever it is. lol.

If there is ever a push to make a run, it's right now.. We have Oakland tomorrow, then Celeveland next. All winnable games.

Then after that it's going to be tough. Games against, Detroit, NY, Boston and Tampa Bay to end the month. Should be interesting to see what happens.

If we can get Wells back, and now with Marcum back in the rotation and healthy who knows what might happen.

The sad thing is, the Jays always seem to make a "tiny" run near the end of the season, when there is no pressure. And this allows JP to make the excuse that they can use this "run" as a building block for next season, when in fact, their season was already done to begin with. Don't forget the September call-ups who would may be taking time away from our regulars.

But this year will be different, as most of their games in September will be games against divisional opponents.

Peteros, sounds like a good idea... but I don't like in Toronto ;)
