Stewart was useless, especially with Lind/Stairs in left.

I hope this is the first of many dumpings of useless players acquired by JP.

Just for the record, Reed Johnson is hitting .300 on the year...

Although I prefer having our outfield as is, I would have prefered keeping Johnson as the backup instead of Stewart... plus I'm sure we could have flipped him for something as opposed to just outright releasing him.

Great job JP!

I originally though having Stewart instead of Johnson wouldn't be so bad, and in fact Stewart might have been better...

however I now admit that I was horribly wrong

The thing that puzzles me the most, is that the Jays signed Reed in the off season, and then released him. There had to be something more there. If they were concerned about his health, then let him walk instead of signing him. Maybe management and the player weren't getting along. I don't know. Just strange to see a player sign in the off season, and then get released.

So at the end, we got nothing out of this. Another reason why JP needs to go.

well that stewart signing failed horribly... i also thought that the return of stewart would be a positive one...
