How about no nickname?
Not having him close will severely weaken this team's bullpen, and many more games will be lost by not having Downs in the 7th and 8th. I'll be cheering for BJ to somehow fix himself.

Batting Practice BJ.
I hope he turns it around though - the guy is obviously injured and unlike a lot of sissies that have passed through here, he's trying to pitch through it. There comes a point when you're hurting the team and it maybe we're well past there now.
But I don't like when the fans boo him - it's not like he's out of shape, or not trying.

I think this should be the official Blue Jays Nickname thread.
Here are some beauties I've come across during my short tenure on this fine board;
Lyle Slowverbay, Overgay, 0-fer-bay, Inning-Overbay, Game-Overbay, Layla Overbay
Veronica Wells, Alexia Rios, Cy Richmond, Roid Barajas,
There are more...just can't remember.

Actually I really like BP Ryan, but he hasn't lost his job yet.

What's with all the BJ hate anyways?
This guy was amazing his first year here. Worth every penny. Injuries have slown him down to where he is now. But that's not his fault. It's not like he went out and got deliberately injured. Rather than having fans boo him because he's lost some zing on his fastball, why don't we politely clap for him for at least trying?

Because that's not how professional sports works. I understand that it's not his fault that he's lost his velocity, but he's literally throwing away won games for us. Hard to feel great when that's happening.
