God damn, the pitchers are falling like flies.

Ricky was off to such a good start too, damn.

Hmm...the Jays seem to have the worst luck in the league with pitchers.

I guess this means that Cecil will take his spot in the rotation, but I think the Jays may have to sign a FA starter soon if people keep dropping like flies.

for some reason, i thought the title was hillarious.

but yeah, this does not bode well for the Jays.
they have no one to bring up to fill the spot.

What the F is going on? That's like five pitchers on the DL. Tough to stay competitive when that's the case.

if Cecil starts, we are screwed.

i wonder if they would toy with putting Downs in the lineup...but don't be surprised to hear some BJ Ryan-related news today. and if we do, then Downs would probably be the closer.

All these pitchers going down
The way we're playing to start the season, one can only wonder "what if" we'd be playing like if our pitchers were all healthy

It's good that it's not his arm, at least.

So....which one of Tallet or Richmond shall we coin as our #2? :(

Why? He's the team's best pitching prospect, and I'm pretty sure he's ready.

They'll make Downs the closer before they make him a starter again.

your reply tasted like a mouth full of dookie.
if Purcey's 2nd in command, then the ship is sinking

It was always sinking.

They need Litsch and Janssen back badly, methinks.

Have there been any updates on Janssen, by any chance?

Cecil is set to pitch for Vegas tonight, so we will know if he is getting the call based on that.

Clearly tanking for a pick in order to "build a team the right way".
