If the first month of the season is any indication, that old song "Meet Me in St. Louis" might be appropriate for Aaron Hill.
The Toronto second baseman went into Wednesday's game against Kansas City leading the Major Leagues in hits (36) and multi-hit games (11). Hill was batting .371 with 20 RBIs as a top-of-the-order sparkplug for a Blue Jays offense that has been robust throughout April.
With the All-Star Game set to be played in St. Louis in July, manager Cito Gaston planted the seed on Wednesday that Hill will be a prime All-Star candidate if he can keep it going.
"Hill has had a great start," Gaston said. "We just hope he continues to swing the bat as he has. Who knows? Maybe he'll get a little trip over to St. Louis."

Cito has to get Hill's name out there. Was it Fox on the weekend that listed the top 2nd baseman but left out Aaron Hill.

I'm guessing the other two were Kinsler and Cano, both have gotten off to really great starts also. Even though he has gotten off to a great start Hill is still going to have some heavy competition for that spot.

good for hill.... the poor guy thought his career might have been in jeopardy when he had that concussion.. it's great that he's playing again.. it's a plus that he has regained his form in 2007..

During the Yankee game the other night they listed the top 3, and left out Hill. But talked a bit about him being left off.
