Horrible pitcher, can't believe he got the call up. Bye Burres

Considering there was no rational reason to start him the last two starts, I wouldn't be surprised if he starts again on Tuesday.

Burres and Bullington both got optioned to Triple A right after the game. I would guess that Brad Mills will take Burres' spot.

I hate Burres. He's this year's Josh Towers.

Apparently someone that knows Cecil said he got called up and will pitch Tuesday. Bullington's sent down was a little weird, I guess Accardo is coming up?

Could be...Romero is also eligible to come off the DL Tuesday, unless I'm very much mistaken.

I don't understand why this couldn't have happened the first time around. Did we really have to see Burres suck for 2 outings?

I appreciate the fact that the Jays do not want to rush Mills and Cecil, but letting Burres lose two games this early in the season is inexcusable. Whether the Jays intend to compete or not, they should know the difference between a MLB pitcher and a AAA pitcher. Burres does not have a plus pitch and is coming off two straight 6.00 ERA/1.70 WHIP seasons for Baltimore. He is garbage.

The fact that he has 22% of the team's losses this year while barely pitching over 6 innings in two combined starts is infuriating. Two starts was way too much to give him.

Watching Burres pitch, you often think that you're just watching a slow-mo highlight. But no, it's happening in real time!

I can't believe that Bullington was the 1st overall pick

Looking at that draft class... he was taken over some absolute studs....

Surprising.

I pray that this is the last I'll ever see of Brian BurRISP.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out!

Burress = guaranteed offense. if you are a fan of the game and not the Blue Jays, you cannot complain.
