Anybody know if the dome will be cracked open for tonight's game....beautiful day...hopefully a packed crowd...would love to see it open

Hopefully it is open, It was either last Friday or Saturday I saw the dome open....must have been testing it out since they were off in the west coast than.

I heard them discussing on 590 one day that Cito or Beeston or both have preferred it to stay close. That's why they haven't opened it when it HAS been gorgeous out. The quote was they feel Rogers Centre is 'a domed stadium with an option to open, not an open stadium with an option to close'. lol.

Kind of sucks for right now but if they believe it's helping them win baseball games I'm cool with it. Hopefully it's just because it cools off a bit at night so they just haven't want to open AND close it in the same game... but I did hear them discussing it either on a post-game call-in or on Prime Time on 590.
