Right-hander Casey Janssen and infielder Joe Inglett have been recalled from the Minors by the Blue Jays, who also made plans to bring back Ricky Romero for their return to intraleague play next week.
Janssen, who spent all of last year recovering from surgery for a torn labrum, rejoins Toronto after posting a combined ERA of 0.76 in five starts between Class A Dunedin and Double-A New Hampshire.
He last appeared with the Blue Jays in 2007, posting a 2.35 ERA in 70 relief appearances. Janssen, 27, is scheduled to start Saturday's Interleague game in Atlanta against the Braves.
Inglett was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas, where a hamstring injury had limited him to seven games. In 109 games with Toronto last season, he hit .297 with three homers and 39 RBIs.
Additionally, the Blue Jays will add Romero prior to a start already scheduled for him on Tuesday in Baltimore. Romero's maiden big league season was off to a 2-0 start, with a 1.71 ERA, prior to straining an oblique muscle. His Minor League rehab consisted of three starts at three different levels, during which he was 0-1 with a 6.91 combined ERA.

Joey Inglett baby! LOL. I don't know why I had (or have) such a boner for the guy. I mean he's a fringe Major Leaguer but last year, for some reason, I always had confidence in him at the plate. He did hit .300, maybe that's why. Hopefully he can be just as productive in the 9 hole, where I assume he'll be.

What a surprise...bye-bye Robert Ray, we can't take down Cecil yet, not after that last start, he was pitching great until he got mashed at Fenway, he needs to get his confidence back. And having Romero back is nice...
Edit: Oh, so wait, Janssen is starting too now? So it's Ray and Cecil who are out???

Well, Janssen at least will get more time to learn from Halladay, who is also very much a pitch-to-contact type guy.

yea, cecil and ray got sent down. and janssen is in the rotation. the pen seems kinda full already, but i kinda prefer janssen in the pen. i'm should he'll get moved to the pen next year, if all the starters get healthy. I'm hoping for next year:
Halladay
McGowan
Marcum
Romero
last spot is up for a good fight

So much for JP's plan of keeping those guys in the minors for a while
Let's see what joltin' joe inglett can add to this offense. If he can be another Scooter than it would be great.

It's good to see Inglett back. He was a real gamer last season for the team. He got picked off of first like half the time he got on base but besides that he was quite good, and he hit .300 vs righties.
