When Roy Halladay's on the mound, Ricky Romero sharpens his focus.
Romero, the young lefty who is a former No. 1 pick of the Blue Jays (2005) believes there is much to be learned, much to be gained from watching whom many consider is currently the best pitcher in the game.
"One of the big thing's that I've learned from him is when he gets into trouble, he slows the game down big-time," Romero said. "As a young pitcher, watching him pitch, that's the kind of things you learn. It's easy to watch someone when they're having all the success in the world but when stuff starts hitting the fan a little bit, what does he do? He backs off a little bit, he doesn't lose his cool.
