This should separate some of the discussions and if things really heat up maybe we'll split the threads even more.
Maybe we should have a thread for each division?

I suggested a general out-of-market thread but I think these specialized threads are an even better idea Oz. I've been trying to follow the NL more this season so I'd be up for splitting this up divisionally but I don't know how much interest other Jays fans have in the senior circuit, so maybe it's not necessary.

I don't care much for the National League. IMO it's virtually always the inferior league, and when an NL team wins the World Series it's usually luck. The Phillies would not have even made the playoffs last year if they were in the AL East.

Just found a feed of the Twins-Cubs game at Wrigley. It could be a long one; five of the Cubs last eight games have gone into extras. Randy Wells is pitching for Chicago. He got his start by pitching one inning for the Jays last year. Despite pitching pretty well he's still looking for his first win. He even took a no hitter into the 5th or 6th in one of his starts.

I'm sorry but this is just zany. Between Rollins, Utlley, Howard, and at that point Burrell, Philly could swing the bat with anyone, and Hamels is a legit ace.

I just realized there's no Blue Jays game today so I'm watching Cubs @ Braves. Still scoreless in the top of the third.
In unrelated news, since everyone else here hates the NL, I'm going to turn this thread into my own personal clubhouse. I'll start by decorating with black lights and posters of Angelina Jolie.

Yeah, I'm watching only until the Mets reach their quota for errors.

Haha how many is that?
Personally I'm waiting for Wang to reach his quota of 11 ER.

Thought I'd bump this in case anyone else is paying attention to Phils-Mets tonight.
