0-4 sweep for Phillies (Yes I know it's 3 games)
Vernon goes -1 / 14 in the series
Howard/Rollins/Utley get get 5 home runs each, and Ibanez gets 10

C'monnnnn jinx!

These Jays really seem to surprise us.. so I have this weird prediction that we'll do well and at least tie the series, which would be great!

A series tie would be pretty surprising, even for this squad.

Am I missing something here? From my calculations, a series split would be impossible, seeing as it's only a 3 game set.

Damn you Ozzy! I was planning on doing GT for this series.

That being said if the Jays could win 2/3 it would all be good. Unfortunately that seems about as likely as a Magic comeback at this point.

If there's one glimmer of hope for the Blue Jays it's that Rollins is having a painful season, I think his OBP is hovering around .250-.260. That likely won't be enough for the Jays, though.

The last time I thought the Jays would get swept in a series (last week in Texas) they actually won. So yeah, let's hope that happens again. But you look at their lineup and wonder how guys like Romero, Richmond, and Janssen are going to get those hitters out...

V-Bust better show up for this series or else....

He better not be batting 3rd in the lineup.

I think it's time to yank Janssen out of the rotation. Bring back Cecil.

Janssen to the bullpen = Seeya later Shawn Camp.

Etc

I assume did you meant Jesse Carlson? Though a case could also be made for Brandon League there.

Shawn Camp has been average this year, which is more than you can say for those two.

I know this is crazy, but nonetheless:

V-dub will break out of this slump tonight, yep you read it correctly, TONIGHT. Being on the road and away from Rogers Centre with all the pressure on and Wells is going to have a positive impact on tonights game and that will begin to turn his season around.

Come on V-dub, don't let me down like you have your whole career.
