That NL field is scary, and obviously Pujols is the best hitter in the world, but I've got a feeling that Mauer is going to pull this out. He's the best contact hitter of the bunch, and I think he'll destroy whatever backup catcher they've got pitching.

Weak derby so far aside from Cruz and Fielder, hopefully Pujols can provide some excitement

Cruz has such an effortless swing. Hamilton last year, and Cruz this year... did Canseco leave his stash in the Rangers club house.

Well Doc went through that inning pretty quick. Doesn't look like he'll go a second one because he's due to hit in the top.

Rosenthal thinks Doc may even be traded within the division... seeing Roy in pinstripes would make me cry.

well this was unexpected from Doc...... he retired the first 5 batters he faced, and then the NL went on a 2-out barrage..

regardless, it's nice to see Doc getting this national spotlight, he truly deserves it.. and Hill with a number of putouts..

yup if you think about it all this talk of trading Roy has been the main talking point throughout this break. I was watching the fox stream earlier and even there they were giving him a lot of attention early in the broadcast.
