Holliday has been on a steady decline and he's put up an unspectacular .831 OPS( for Holliday). I don't know much about Shane Peterson or that pitcher but i know Brett Wallace is gonna be good player. I remember the Jays liked him in the David Cooper draft and he has advanced pretty quickly in the minors. The problem was in an ideal world he's a first baseman and we all know who the Cardinals have at first base, they had plans for him at Third Base but noone knew how it was going to work out. It might be an ok trade if St.Louis can re-ink him to a good deal.

nice move for STL. holliday is a good player but bad because they gave up prospects for a 2 month rental

I would guess he will be a Type B FA, so if he is only a two month rental, they will get a prospect back at the end of it.
