At the Skydome.

Friday, August 7, 7:07
Ricky Romero (10-4, 3.53) continues his ROY campaign against fellow rookie Jason Berken (1-9, 6.93), who is decidedly not in the hunt for the award.

Saturday, August 8, 1:07

***

Sunday, August 9 , 1:07

More to come, maybe. I'm going to the game tomorrow, my first of the year.

Hmm. I'm going to watch this game on Sportsnet or whatever and hope that Ricky Romero keeps up his excellent season.

It's time to kick of the ROY Watch in earnest...Romero's stats are better than Porcello's by a good distance, but Porcello is the bigger name.

Holy crap, these unis make me want to cry, in a good way. Best unis in baseball? Top 3 easily

Well, that was monstrously disappointing. Hopefully we can get some offense to keep Overbay's error from stinging Ricky with L #5.

If I was scoring, that's a base hit...it took an absolutely brutal bounce off the seam on Overbay. I'm happy to keep Romero's ERA down by any means possible, but Lyle isn't the goat if we lose this one.

No, naturally, Ricky was the one who put the runners on base who scored, of course.

I think Cito needed to have pulled him a wee bit earlier, but if he'd done it, I'd have complained because Ricky had been pitching so well to that point, so it's not like Cito made a big mistake or anything. He looked fatigued in the 6th, though.

League with the gift run instead of letting Hill get the out, nice.

This has been an absolutely brutal inning and Accardo has looked so bad, I'm no longer questioning why we've been treating him the way we wave... Obviously, that's reactionary, but ye GODS, man...

I love seeing those jerseys again. Screw those black and grey ones and get back to these ones.

Wells hit a homer? At the Skydome? I hardly believe it. I believe that gives him only 19 RBI at home this year.

He hit an RBI single, too; a multi-RBI game at home!

It's been said, but I'll say it again.

Those unis are absolute beauts. Puts the new ones to shame.

Classic. Clean.

If only there was a way to properly incorporate this into the current uniforms without ruining it completely.

They should just bring back the old logo, with possibly a tweak here or there. I was thinking keep the bird's head, but just get rid of the baseball behind it, and the maple leaf. Just a simple blue jay head.

I'm all for reverting back to those unis completely. Oh so nice. The grey ones are really nice too, with Toronto emblazoned on the chest. They shoulda never changed'em anyway. Not even just to resurrect the glory of 92/93, they're just really freakin' nice threads.

Well from the looks of the ST not many of you guys watched the game, but it was a good one. Cecil was lights out for a few innings before going wild in the 5th, then Tallet and Frasor shut it down. It was nice to see Lind get the walkoff hit, according to Wilner that was the Jays' first walkoff win since May. All and all, it was a great game, and I was lucky to have picked a good one to go out to for my first of the year at the Dome.
