I have no idea why the Brewers are so down on him after one very unlucky half season (his BABIP is much lower than his career rate). He's one of the top 5 fielders at SS and still only 27. Maybe some kind of sign and trade could do it.

The Brewers seem to be pretty high on Alcides Escobar so it seems Hardy has become expendable. If the price is right i'd be more than willing to take him.

The Brewers gave him more than enough chance and with them in the hunt for a playoff spot it was time to give Escobar a shot.
