Adam Lind is a 30 jack, 100 RBI guy. He's kind of a big deal.

Fleece blanket giveaway for the first 10000 fans at the Jays last home game on Sept 27. Seeing as Vernon Wells and Alex Rios are pictured on the blanket, this could not come at a better time for the homeless. I'd rather be cold than use a blanket with Vernon Wells and Alex Rios on it. Homeless people won't care. The clever panhandlers, the ones with the "smile if you masturbate" signs will set up shop in the immediate area around Rogers Centre, ie. Bremner Blvd/Front St. after this game, and rightfully so. A few of these souvenirs should keep them plenty warm this fall season.

Good to know we have a solid command on how to suck. Six innings, blanked, but we've given up 4 runs.

Garza is 2-hitting us through 6. That's embarrassing.
EDIT: My bad, 5.1 IP

Overbay makes it a 3-hitter with the single.

Nice, GIDP. Good work, Bautista.

Depleted pen means Romero's stuck out there for a while, even in bad form.

Shawn Camp, in style. 1-2-3. Maybe they'll be life in the Jays' bats in the 8th?

Naww....

Well, at least we drew a lot of walks... and went 0-5 with RISP, had a terrible pitching performance from our starter and struck out 11 times (10 times in Garza's 7.1 IP).
Wow. That's just... that's the nail.
I guess the important thing to ask is if, in the next 14 games, we reach 70 wins. Feels a lot like 2004.

Just a little rant...........i am not to sure but i think i am starting to DIS- like Mr Gaston,,we keep seing Millar, Carlson and the same bunch getiing thrown out there. Almost the same lineup from start of the game to the end of the game. He never hardly uses pinch hitters only subs in John Mac for the catchers when they get on base, how about a little bit of variety for excitement. Millar is no use to us going forward,,give the young guys some burn,, as a fan i want to see the exciting up and coming not the washed up old veterns,,,oh ya and I hate the freeken yakees and there 200 plus payroll.....there i feel better, till the next loss.
