RealGM

This is just an idea off the top of my head that probably won't work, but I thought I'd suggest it anyway.

I worked at the Hard Rock Cafe at the Skydome last summer, and I've been meaning to go back there all summer. They're going to be closing the HRC after this season as Rogers increased the rent to the extent that they lose money every game.

Anyway I've decided I'm going to go down there tomorrow. Since it's the last home game of the year it might be fun to do a RGM Blue Jays gathering too. The notice is very short and obviously there aren't that many of us, but if anyone else here is going maybe we could have a pint and talk Jays in RL. Any takers?

Dang, I really would have been down if you meant after the game, tbh. I was loafting around the area from about 4-6 until I ended up going to Hoops on Bremner and then Jack's with some coworkers to watch football.

A RealGM gathering probably wouldn't be as awkward as advertised, imo. People find endless things to talk about when drunk/drinking.

Next time though.

I figured it wouldn't work on that much notice anyway. Something came up for me so I didn't even get a chance to go down myself. Maybe we can do a gathering at some point during the POs. It would offer us better baseball to watch than what the 2009 Blue Jays have to offer.
