WT: Why is Cito saying this during the WS?

http://baseball.realgm.com/src_wiretap_ ... eave_jays/I can't speak for Doc, but my gut feeling is if he's here next year with us, then he'll probably leave after next year. Hopefully, if that's the case, then we can get something for him before he leaves.

Yeah, that's kind of shocking reading his quote. He's pretty much saying that we're going to suck and our best player is going to leave. Good way to keep fans.

Meh, he speaks the truth. Team needs to prep for Doc to leave. Fans should, too.

he should be preparing for himself to leave when he gets his ass canned.
that statement didnt have to do with this quote but he will in time.

umm, hello being realistic? with the exception of doc, the yankees are better than us at EVERY position. yet we are going to make the playoffs next season? stop with the opium dreams...
