Obviously almost every1 on raptors realgm believes Calderon shouldnt start for the raptor when he does come back..cuz Jack statistically and team wise has proven that he can handle the strting role, as he has done many times in his career. So does that mean havin Calderon comin off the bench for J.Jack be more effective? It could be somewhat..but we playin this man about 8 mill/year..IMO if BC is presented with a trade involvin calderon..he shud get it DONE
This is one trade scenerio that would make sense for each team..and it would be involve Portland and New Jersey
Toronto:
J.Bayless/filler and 2nd round
Portland:
J.Boone/filler
New Jersey:
Calderon
Toronto receives Bayless, a young talent that is going to waste in Portland, and isnt so happy about it..puttin him on teh floor with Derozan could be very deadly and having him back up Jack
Portland receives J.Boone, who can give them a rebounder off the bench..since Oden is doen for the season
New Jersey would receive Calderon, whom could fit on NJ since they dont really run the ball and are more of a half court set team..plus Lee could b used more effectively off teh bench for NJ thn he is currently while strting for them. Calderon and Harris could form a gud guard backcourt
What u guys think?
