On today via telephone device. Wasn't all that interesting but said a few things of note...

* He feels they have the outlines of a successful team, buoyed by a strong (more accurately, at least mediocre) 2nd half last year, and offseason.

* Thrilled Barack Obama is coming to opening day. (Maybe the President's plan includes health care for Flores, Detwiller, etc. etc.)

* No drop-dead deadline to sign Adam Dunn. Feels they have a good relationship and he wants to be here.

* Mentioned he'd like to give Storen a chance to pitch some AAA before he gets to Washington (interesting since Storen is presently AA with Strasburg)

* Speaking of Strasburg, did make a good point that he has a pretty steep learning curve learning to pitch with people on base, since he's never really had to deal with that problem too much thus far... :D

* Says with a stable rotation, anything is possible, with an unstable rotation, nothing is possible. Thinks the rotation with stabilize for the long-term this year, no doubt, so thinks the sky is the limit going forward.
