Storen up/Bruney down

Post#1 » by Jollay » Mon May 17, 2010 10:44 am

Thank God.

He joins the team tonight. Hopefully seventh innings are now his and occasionally Burnett's.

At this point I really don't see why the Nats risk having Storen hit free agency a year quicker. I would have just called up Joel Peralta and waited a couple more weeks for Storen.

But kudos to the Nats for doing what is best in the immediate term for the ballclub.

I was surprised too that the Nats didn't wait a bit longer.

Storen has a ton of potential.

Nats have played way beyond expectations so far.
