Remember former Nats closer Chad Cordero?
He retired today.
Dang, that was too quick. Cordero has had to deal with a labrum injury, with the consequences of his own refusals to accept assignments to AAA, and with the death of an infant daughter. I feel for him - his life is so different than his banner 2005 campaign.
Good luck in whatever you do in the future, Chief.

Yeah, heard that driving in. Damn, hard to believe the guy's only like 30--seems like he's been around forever. The daughter thing--ugh. Horrible.
Hope he finds happiness/success outside playing baseball.
