Do we need to improve our roster via trade(s)????

I know the Nats are still a very young team and the sky's the limit for them but with the trade deadline coming soon, do we make a move. I believe we need to work on our outfield- maybe putting a nice compliment to go alongside with Kearns and Church. I also think we need a slugger- someone who can score runs and hit homers.

I dont want to bring in a veteran and therefore would like to add young talent to develop. Any ideas?????

But what would you be willing to give up?

I don't think the Rays will let him go on the cheap. I do think the Rays will move him. Might take some time.

The Rays will want a closer...chad cordero most likely.

They are going to spend a lot of money in free agency, but before that, I think they want to wait on John Patterson and Shawn Hill to see what kind of a rotation they will have before they make any moves. But this offseason, they are probably going to go after one of the center fielders and a back end of the rotation starter.

2008 is the offseason to watch out for though.
