Nationals vs L.A. Dodgers of L.A.

That was fun tonight. Early fireworks for the good guys.

Tomorrow, weather permitting, Strasburg on the mound. I've already set my TiVO to record it.

DC is suppose to get like 1-2 inches of rain today, so there's no way Strasburg is going to pitch,a nd the game may not even be played. Should be interesting to see what they do, push him back for tomorrow or skip him entirely.

I just did a weather nowcast (not a forecast, but stuck my head outside the building).

It's drizzling. But the ground around my office in SW is saturated.

I *assume* - yeah, that word - that if Strasburg hasn't done anything to warm up for the game, that he can go tomorrow - weather permitting. But if he goes thru warm-up and THEN they call the game, they'll sit him a a bit.

Ah Pine, you work in SW? Moving into my new condo by the end of the month, living around the Waterfront station.

Anyway, it looks like Strasburg isn't going to pitch tonight. If the game is postponed, they will play a doubleheader tomorrow with Strasburg pitching the 1 o'clock game, which in my view is a mistake.

Strasburg looked good.

Next season's starting rotation looks like it has potential, at least 1-3. the 4 and 5 starters....need to figure that out pretty soon.

Doubleheader today, with the first game at 1 PM. It's still raining here in DC, so I'm not sure if they are going to get the games in, but we'll see. This is going to be brutal for the Dodgers, a doubleheader today and then they go out to the West Coast to play San Francisco.
