Only 22, this guy is already the face of the franchise.

His rookie year numbers are sick: 20 HRs/110 RBIs/287 average with 47! doubles. He also will take a walk and get on base.

It should be very fun watching this kid grow up here in DC.

i had had two martinis at this point so i asked her if he every shouted DAGGER in the bedroom with her.

she looked at me kinda strangely and said she had no idea what DAGGER meant.

Zimmerman is legit and I'm glad the Nats have at least one young player to grow around. I see nothing else on the roster or in the farm system that makes me say there is a player though.

Hopefully we can put a good team around him because this kid is special. As a rookie he was amazing and I look for him to get better and better as the years pass.

I don't want to hijack this thread but Josh Wilson looks like he could be pretty good.

I think if he has another year like he did last year, or close to it, then the Nationals should definitely look into signing him long term., i.e. takes up all of his arbitration years and a couple of years into free agency.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.
