I'm sorry but I'm not doing a good game thread for this series.
Don't worry I'll be back with the good stuff against them Cubs.

Ed Wood's Positively Delightful First Attempt at a Game Thread
now with title not at all in keeping with the APA style!
Featuring:
Your Washington Nationals
The San Diego Padres
At Petco Park, in beautiful downtown San Diego.
Game one features two aces, nominal or otherwise!

vs.
John Patterson (1-4 6.44) Jake Peavy (3-1 2.06)
Game two enchants with a matchup of surprisingly successful pitchers!

vs.
Shawn Hill (2-3 3.00) Chris Young (3-2 3.34)
Game three pairs two young men struggling to find their way in the world, the drama is palpable!

vs.
Matt Chico (2-2 5.70) Clay Hensley (1-3 7.86)
What is indeed a most intriguing inquiry:
Why did I even put that much effort into this with the series nearly finished?
I have your back, eventually.

Nice.
And you're right Petco Park looks amazing. I can't say from personal experience but from the looks of it, that is one of the top parks in the league.
If you want to get into a system for these things I'm all ears. If not I can continue no problem.

Whatever works, though something tells me we'll rarely have the opportunity to ride the hot hand.
