Pena and Cash for player to be named later. I think Pena has great potential and hopefully will thrive in Washington.

He's a power guy- I like that. Hopefully he sticks around.

It was a good pickup. Bowden loves his former Reds. WMP had a great AB last night to extend the game, where he singled by going with the pitch to right field, before the Flores game-winner. If he plays full time, he could probably hit 30 HR's next year but with tons of K's.

The guy now has 8 HR's in 83 ABs with the Nats. Sick. That's 3 more homers than he had in twice the ABs with the Red Sox. Seems like he just needed to start everyday.

as a diehard sox fan, id love to see Wily do great. i think hes capable of hitting 40 hrs and driving in close to 100. however those strikeouts are going to cripple your faith in him. good luck though

Haha I am going back to last year to say this deal wasn't that great for the Nats.

It's hard to root for a team 14 games under .500. It's one of those teams that has potential to be an 85 win team...3-4 years down the line and I'm not sure if this market is prepared to wait that long.
